Finding Your Style #5: A Women's Look

July 12, 2017

More and more these days, there's an emerging trend of women buying clothes usually made for men and dressing them up and down. Gorilla socks are no exception, they look stylish and appeal to a cause that everyone can feel good supporting, Gorilla Conservation.

When planning an outfit around these socks, I was inspired by these images from Van's shoes on Pinterest. I think it's the perfect example of making men's socks an essential part of an outfit.

First start off with this T-Shirt dress from Forever 21. The length is long enough that you don't have to wear shorts, but is also the right length to still be flirty.

Accessorise with these two choker necklaces, a 90's trend that's really making a comeback. If you don't like these specific ones, there are lots more to chose from in stores like Charlotte Russe and Rue 21.

Bamboo Socks Fire Gorilla Socks Find your Style

Any Gorilla Socks would go great with this bold yet basic look, but I recommend "Fire". The red will stand out from the matching black and set you apart from the crowd too.

The last piece will be the shoes, made by Rocket Dog and sold on the Forever 21 website. The fun rainbow band adds a pop of color to go along with the bamboo socks. The basic black makes it match, but still sets you apart.

No need to worry if these sneakers get hot at all, the bamboo is breathable and will keep you comfy all day long.

I think in the future as fashion becomes more androgynous, we'll see even more ways to dress up and dress down both men's and women's clothes. Although, when adding a pair of Gorilla Socks, you're guaranteed to look soxy!
